Partner with The Twinning Project to reduce reoffending and changelives

When you join us as a corporate partner you will play a direct role in transforming the life chances of people in custody. Through your support participants will gain qualifications, improve their wellbeing and build a realistic pathway into employment on release.
You will align your organisation with a pioneering research backed programme tackling one of society’s biggest challenges while delivering measurable social impact.
Why this work matters
Reoffending carries a huge human and economic cost across the UK. Around 67% of people
in custody were unemployed before imprisonment, over half enter prison with no qualifications and 75% leave without paid employment.
Without intervention 64% of men will reoffend within a year of release, creating further victims of crime and a significant financial burden on the taxpayer.
When you join The Twinning Project you will help break this cycle by supporting programmes that create job opportunities, build skills and confidence and reduce the long term social and economic cost of reoffending.
The Twinning Project delivers a national impact and you will directly support a programme that improves employment outcomes, strengthens communities and reduces pressure on the criminal justice system.
What your investment will achieve
Your investment will directly fund delivery inside prisons and support a scalable national programme.
Your partnership will help
- Transform the life chances of over 1,200 participants each year
- Reduce levels of reoffending on release
- Reduce the number of future victims of crime
- Lower the long term cost of reoffending to the taxpayer
- Participants will complete accredited courses delivered by professional coaches and prison staff.
- Many will gain their first ever qualification, improve their physical and mental health and build stronger links with family and support networks that support successful rehabilitation.
Proven impact for participants
Independent research shows that when you join us participants will experience:
- Greater confidence and belief in their future
- Improved mental and physical wellbeing
- First time qualifications and employability skills
- Stronger family connections to support rehabilitation
- Positive peer relationships and trusted support networks
- Better planning for life after release
These outcomes are directly linked to reduced reoffending and improved reintegration into society.
Why football works
Football is accessible, familiar and deeply embedded in local communities. Professional clubs provide credibility and a sense of belonging that helps recruit and retain participants. Through association with a football club participants develop pride, motivation and a positive identity that supports long term behavioural change and reintegration into mainstream society.
How corporate partnerships work
When you join us you will access scalable partnership tiers that allow your organisation to support delivery at local, regional or national level. Funding will support programmes linked to specific prisons and football clubs or contribute to the wider national rollout.
Partnerships are multi year, creating stability and long term impact. Investment levels range from locally focused programmes to headline national partnerships supporting delivery across the prison estate.
